چکیده
Abstract Objectives Mortality following percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is a key quality measurement in clinical practice. This study investigated the 10-year trends of mortality PCI an unselected nationwide cohort. Design Retrospective cohort study. Setting A South Korea. Participants claim data from 2006 to 2015 National Health Insurance Service and Statistics Measures 1-year cardiovascular or non-cardiovascular death. Results In total, 437,436 patients were included. The annual number increased 32,098 51,990 over decade studied (p<0.001). Patients divided into quartile subgroups according score for predicting all-cause proportion high-risk quartiles increased, whereas those low-risk decreased cumulative incidence rate death did not change population with risk scores 1st (0.9% 0.8%) 2nd (1.3% 1.3%) quartiles, it 3rd (3.4% 5.1%) 4th (15.5% 19.4%) Compared year 2006, mean survival time was shorter by 0, 3.3, 12.4 days 2nd, 3rd, respectively. These findings also consistent deaths. Conclusion number, proportion, overall high after Funding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: None.

Trends in cause of death after percutaneous coronary intervention.
BACKGROUND The impact of changing demographics on causes of long-term death after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) remains incompletely defined. METHODS AND RESULTS We evaluated trends in cause-specific long-term mortality after index PCI performed at a single center from 1991 to 2008. Deaths were ascertained by scheduled prospective surveillance. Cause was determined via telephone in...

OBJECTIVES The aim of our study was to examine the trends in procedural success, in-hospital, and long-term outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for chronic total occlusions (CTO) over the last 25 years from a single PCI registry and to examine the impact of drug-eluting stents. BACKGROUND The percutaneous treatment of CTO remains a major challenge. Past studies have used v...

AIM Renal insufficiency is associated with worse clinical outcomes in patients with coronary artery disease. Since the introduction of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), the revascularization therapy has evolved with advances of devices, improvements in operator techniques, and the establishment of medical therapy. We examined temporal trends of the clinical outcomes following PCI in pat...
